Learning Objectives
Knowledge and understanding of research results pertaining social and interactive processes during the first years of life and psychological interventions inspired to attachment theory.
Applying knowledge of the above mentioned patterns coming from research results to everyday life as well as professional experience.
Learning to acquire and read recent literature pertaining these issues, understanding roots of psychological interventions in adoption and foster care interventions. .

Knowledge of basic methods and contents of developmental psychology

Course program
Recent research results about T.O.M., attachment, temperament and Self concept and gender identity will be presented . These aspects will be investigated as they contribute to peer relationships and during adolescence. Psychological interventions in foster care and adoption, inspired to J. Bowlby's attachment theory will be discussed.
